A message from Fairbanks, Alaska, states that the Fort Worth arrived over Fairbanks on Sunday, at (5 p.m. She took on 200 gallons of fuel, and then proceeded westward, while the refuelling plane landed for more gas, and prepared to follow and accompany the Fort Worth to the Behring Sea. (Received August 4, at 10 a.m.) Captain Chichester’s 250-milc flight to Aparri was made across mountains and jungles and Luzon Island, alter which Captain Chichester, who is still wearing a beard, landed his seaplane on Mount Cagavan River. COLONEL LINDBERGH'S FLIGHT VANCOUVER, August 3. (Received August 4, ftt 10 a.m.) Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh hopped off from Churchill (Manitoba) for Baker Lake at 12.45 p.m. to-day. PLANE OVERDUE .SEARCH PARTIES OUT. PERTH, August 4, (Received August 4, at 10 a.m.) A piano containing Captain Snook and Mr Arthur Blako left Manilya Station, in the Gascoyne district, for Onslow on Sunday. They were twentyfour hours overdue last night. Search parties leave to-day. < ATTEMPT ABANDONED NEW YORK, August 3. (Received August 4, at 1.40 p.m.) Mr Victor Lawn, representative of Panghorn and Herndon, to-day received cabled advice from the fliers to the effect that they were abandoning their attempt to better the record established by Rost: and Catty.
