WASHINGTON, December 17, Consideration of tho World _ Court protocol has boon postponed until nest congress in December, 1931. Religious leaders to-day banded to" President Hoover a petition from fiftynine church bodies asking for American adherence to tho court. [President Hoover sent the World Court protocol to the Senate with a request for ratification of “ the provision which frees us from any entanglement in diplomacy with other nations. We cannot ho summoned _ before the court, and our withdrawal is permitted at ary time without reproach or ill-will. The movement for tho establishment ol such a court originated within our conn try. It sprung from _tho > earnest socking of our people for justice in international relations and to strengthen the foundations of peace.”]
