(Received December 1, at 9.45 a.m.) An attempt to wreck the barracks occupied by the master butchers at Aberdeen, who are killing stock for tho Sydney trade, was made by about thirty men. They maintained, a fusillade of missile throwing until scattered by the police, who fired over the heads of tho attackers. , Large quantities of blue metal were hurled through the doorways and windows of tho barracks, where there were fifty-four butchers. A wild scatter took place when tho police, who are also living on the pre- : mises, brought, their revolvers into play. Additional police have been rushed to Aberdeen, where all is now quiet.
