PHYSICAL FESTIVAL
The -Dunedin School ol Physical Culture will present its third annual display on Saturday at His Majesty’s Theatre. This year the performers will number over 300, and a programme oi exceptional diversity is assured. Many of the massed exorcises have been specially compiled as a result of years of research into the forms and postures which provide tho necessary medium for the correct development of the body beautiful, and at the same time give the most novel effect in display' work. There will be an- entirely new scries of exercises and apparatus work for each of the classes, and the ladies’ educational, posing, and deportment exercises, golden wands, and club swinging movements, girl tumblers and gymnasts, men gymnasts, dancing girls, and others will bo a distinctly novel interpretation of a system which stands all tests. Tho costumes and stage scenery have been specially chosen to lend the most harmonious effects to tiro children’s and ladies’ exercises, while an* efficient orchestra of six players has been engaged to accompany tho various items.
