Ono morning at an hotel, when the attendant was showing him to his bath, tho visitor paused before tho inscription on tho mat. “Tam Htab,” ho mused, “that must bo Welsh for ‘ Welcome’?’’ “ No, sir,’’ said tho attendant, “ the bath mat happens to bo upside down.” 'the most dangerous trade in New York, according to casually statistics, is windowcleaning. Baseball is the most dangerous popular form of recreation.
