SOUTH AUSTRALIA LOAN ESTIMATES PASSED. Pros* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ADELAIDE, November 5. (Received November 5, at 10.20 a.m.) The loan estimates for 1930-31 were passed by tho Assembly. The Premier (Mr Hill) said that two alternatives were open to the Government. One was to balance tho Budget, the other to repudiate its debts—a policy which ho would never support. Mr Hill praised tho work of/the Loan Council, which, he said, was more than ever necessary at this critical period.
