SOVIET’S NEW MOVE
INTERNATIONAL BATTLE FUND LONDON, August 26. The correspondent of ‘ The Times at Riga states that the Trade Union-In-ternational adopted a resolution instructing subsidiary or *s throughout the world to collect as much g as possible for “an international battle fund ” to finance strikes in the capitalist countries. Tho resolution states that the fund hitherto has not been big enough to carry out really large strikes, as instanced by the English woo dispute where the International failed to render sufficient financial and moial fl&e congress “ attached colossal importance to the internationalising cling strikes, and rousmg tho negroes for class warfare,” for which tho Central Council is instructed to organise a revolutionary movement in Atuca, America, and elsewhere.
