The Mayor of Dunedin (Mr R. S« Black) went off byr train this morning to attend the Municipal Conference at Wellington. Mr William Backhaus and his wife, with Mr E. J. Gravestock, travelled from Dunedin to Timaru by train .to* day for a concert there this evening. Mr J. G. D. Dempster was a passenger for Wellington by the midday express to-day. Mr E. L.
