An endeavour is being made to conclude the meeting on Tuesday evening but with the Taranaki, Hawke’s Bay, and Otago teams' matches, the service championship, and the King’s Fifty to be fired on Monday and Tuesday, the accomplishment Is not free from difficulty. In the Auckland match forty-seven was the highest score returned in the shorter range, and this only in a few instances, the average being forty-two. At 500yds M. Luxford, a tyro from Wanganui, registered the possible. Of other cards completed in this match, F. Jenne (Gisborne) has an aggregate of 95. The marking is being done by M aoris, and the competitors acclaim their smartness and accuracy.
