LOST ON MOUNTAIN

(Received January 2, at 1,30 a.m.) A message from Mount Kosciusko reports the discovery of the body of Evan Hayes, the'young man who, with a companion, Laurie Seamans, perished during the snowstorm at Kosciusko in August, 1928. The body was found by two shepherds about half a mile from the spot where the men’s tracks were lost. A largo search parly had scoured the whole mountain for several days between August 16 and August 23, and succeeded in finding only Seamans s body near the summit of Kosciusko.
