TAKES SEAT IN LORDS SWEARING-IN CEREMONY. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, October 31. In the House of Lords there was a large attendance of peers when Lord Baden-Powell was sworn in with the customary picturesque ceremonial. Lady Baden-Powell and a number of Boy Scouts,. Girl Guides, and officers were in the galleries. The chief sponsors were Lords Hampton and Glentanar, both Boy Scout commissioners.
