WRESTLING
TO-MORROW RIGHT’S CONTEST Modern wrestling has gripped the fancy of the public in Australia and in the northern cities of the domipiqn, and there-are already signs that it will do the same in Dunedin, as great interest is being centred in the meet ing between Clarence Eklnnd and Maracci Garden! at the Drill Hall on Saturday night. Eklnnd first came into the limelight ip 1910, when Farmer Burns was dropping out of the game, and there were many claimants to the light heavy-weight championship. Eklnnd never suffered defeat during his first three years in the ring and be was eventually designated holdei of the title. He lost it to Ted Thye but the pair have met three times since and on each occasion Eklnnd has been the winner. In Garden! he will find a wrestler who will keep 'dm busy throughout. The visiting wrestlers indulged in training last night, and a demonstration of the various bolds was ap predated by a big gallery of spectators.
