CHRSSTIAH BROTHERS OLD BOYS V. PRESENT BOYS This match was played at the Oval to-day. The Present team, winning the toss,’elected to bat, and opened its innings with T- Rodgerson and V. OTAGO LEAGUE A match between South Otago and the Otago League was on the Oval this morning at 10.30. The visitors won the toss, and sent the home team in to bat. The following are the results of the Boys’ Association matches on Saturday : —Senior Grade. — Christian Brothers 131 defeated High School !)0. For the Brothers, M’Carten scored 70 not out, Wallace 21, Ryan 15, and Duggan 12. Payne 39 and Hogg 16 were the top-scorers for Hign School. Pavnc also took five wickets. For Christian Brothers, Devereaux took five wickets and M'Carten three. —Junior Grade. — Christian Brothers A 44 and six for 33 defeated High School No. XIII. 23 and 48. For the former M’Cartncy made 14 and Spillane 11. for High School, Pitts scored 19 and Ross 10. Smith took nine wickets for Christian Brothers, while Pitts and Grant bowled well for High School. . High School No. XIV. defeated Christian Brothers by an innings and 06 runs. ’
