WOOL CLIPS
THE PRODUCING COUNTRIES COMBINE URGED Press Aaiocistion—Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE, October 19. (Received October 19, at 11 a.m.) • A Queensland pastoralist (Mr James Clark) wrote to the South African Prime Minister regarding wool marketing, stressing the need for a wool trust comprising Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and Argentina, and declaring that it was ridiculous that; they should put a product of which they had a monopoly into the market in such a manner that they had to take what the combined buyers chose to give. The South African Minister of Agriculture has now replied expressing tho opinion that tho most effective method by which the producer could secure a voice in the disposal of his products was by-co-operation.
