FULLERS’ LATEST REVUE

ATTRACTION FOR THE PRINCESS Despite the fact that talking pictures have secured a stranglehold on most theatregoers, the legitimate stage has still an appealing fascination to many. While the talkies have given us some first-class productions, most of them have been of the dramatic type, so that a really outstanding vaudeville offering, with highly amusing comedy as the predominating theme, should afford theatregoers a most welcome change. At the Princess Theatre on Monday evening Fullers’ latest revue company is to revive memories of the old-time merriment which one was accustomed to in this theatre. The leading star, Hector St. Clair, is not new to Dunedinites. Many will conjure up happy recollections of his previous visit,' and will welcome his return witli undoubted enthusiasm. Ho is an ar tist of no mean ability, being • particularly clever in comedy. Hector is by no means the only talented artist in the company. There are many members of the band who are sure to prove favourites during their short season of one week. Two distinctly different programmes will be submitted, and at every session the Princess Theatre should ring with spontaneous laughter and applause. Several fine vocalists are also travelling vvith the company, which is claimed to bo the finest yet sent across from Australia by the Puller enterprise. Among the varied items on the programme will be several of the very latest English and American sketches, and the whole show will be put over amid attractive settings, which will be further enhanced by the appearance of the Radio Six, a bevy of ballet girls well versed in their art. The box plans are advertised.
