A PROMISING HEAVY-WEIGHT LONDON, October 17. Frgpkie Genaro retains tbe world’s fly-weight 'championship by defeating Ernie Jarvis, of Millwall, on points at Albert Hall in fifteen rounds. The heavy-weight Primo Camera knocked down Jack Stanley, an expoliceman. for a long count. When he rose he floored him again for nine; so the referee, before the first round ended, intervened, and awarded the fight to Camera. The English fcather-wei'dit, Jonnny Cuthbcrt, easily defeated Edward Mascart, the ex-European champion, on points in twelve rounds.—Australian Press Association. Boxing critics are speculating on Canera’s chances of becoming a world's champion. Stanley no doubts on the subject. Ho says: “He is not human. T never hit him. 1* was like fighting the Tower of London.” . The ‘ Morning Post says it is doubtful if even in America at present there is anybody to heat Cancra. „ Mr Louis Dennison, in the ‘Daily Telegraph,’ says Cnnera would have passed as a world beater.
