RAHFURLY SHIELD CHALLENGE [Peu United Phess Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, August U. At a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union, Old Boys were declared the winners of the sonioi competition. It was decided to challenge Wairapapa for the Ranfmly shield to ho played on August 28 AUCKLAND V. HAWKE’S BAY The following team has been chosen to represent Auckland against Hawke’s Bay at Auckland next Saturday : Full-back, Butler; three-quarters—R. Hook, Lucas, Mums; five-eighths, Bush and Jamieson; half-back, Corner; rover, Keeme; forwards —Hadley, Fmlayson, A. Knight, W. Batty, M‘Williams, L. Knight, and Cathcart. Reserves; Forwards—Fletcher, Palmer, Anderson, and Righton; hacks—M‘Manus, Jcnkin, Cammick, and L. Hook.
