The fortnightly meeting of Court King Edward’s Pride -was held last Thursday, when a large gathering of members was presided over by tbeC.R., Bro. Walton. The occasion was the celebration. of tho twenty-second anniversary of the court, and official visits were received from all the city and suburban courts. Tho D.C.R., Bro. E. Ensor. D.S.C.R. Bro. G. L. Walmslev, T.P.D.C.R. Bro. R. S. Vercoe, D.S. Bro. J. K. Macfic, and D.W, Bro. J. 11. Reynolds were also welcomed. The toast of the District Executive was responded to by the D.C.R., and the visitors’ toast was responded to by Sisters Eason, M‘Gregor, Ogilvio, Bros. Ojsen, Kenyon, Jones, Davies, Brettel, Taylor, and M'Kay, on behalf of their respective' courts. The D.C.R. congratulated the members on attaining their twenty-second anniversary and on the good progress the court continued to show. Reports were given of visits to Courts Pride of the Leith, Woodland’s Pride, and Enterprise. Bro. Tobin, of Sydney, one of the founders of the court, conveyed his congratulations and good wishes to the court. Three new members vero admitted and one nomination received. After the meeting a social dance was held, tho arrangements , made by the committee being very successful, and the evening was enjoyed by all Court Molyneux held it fortnightly meeting on Tuesday at Clark’s Buildings, Balcluthn, when Bro. L. Kirby presided over a good ntton lance cl members. P.C.R. Brc. T. Parkinson was elected secretary of the juvenile branch, Court Pride of Molyneux. Several members gave good reports of the recent official visit to Court Enterprise at Dunedin, and it was resolved to forward a letter of thanks and appreciation to that court for its hospitality. The advisability of holding a ball was left to tho Social Committee to report to next meeting. \ll adult members were invited to attend the next meeting of the juveniles and to take a keen interest in Court Pride of Molyneux.

Court Woodland’s Pride had a fair attendance of members at its last meet ing. In the absence of the C.R., the chair was occupied by P.C.R. Sister Hynes. The balance-sheet for the last half-year was submitted by the auditors, and showed the court to be in a flourishing position, A vote of thanks and appreciation was tendered ro the secretary 7 for compiling the various statements. It was agreed to invite the members of R.A.0.8. to next meeting for a social evening. One membei was admitted by transfer, and three nominations were received prior to the close of the meeting.

There was a large gathering of members at the last meeting of Court Queen of Green Island, under the etiarg-9 of the C.R., Sister M'Gregor. Invitations were received from Courts Same Andrew’s, Excelsior, and King Edward’s Pride, and reports were given on visits to various courts during the interval from last meeting. It was decided to entertain the city minus at an early date. Tho judges of the ritual efficiency competition ' were present, and, in responding, they pointed out the weak parts in the working of the court and gave sound advice to the members. A friendly hour at cards terminated a successful meeting. At the last meeting of Court Faith of Green Island (juveniles) practically every member was present, and the C.R., Sister R. Freeman, was in charge. The youthful officers carried out their duties very ably under tlie directions of the adult officers. Arrangements were concluded to hold an entertainment next-meeting, when ibe juvenile boys’ court, Houpo of Green Island, will pay an official visit. The meeting ended with a pleasant hour at games.
