MONTHLY MEETING OF COMMITTEE Tho monthly meeting of tlie committee of the Otago Early Settlers’ Association was held in the board room yesterday afternoon, the president (Mr F. W. Knight) occupying the chair. Homer (Dunedin), framed photo of Quinton M‘Kinnon, discoverer of Milford-To Anau track, also photo of Lawrencc-Cale-donian bowlers, 1834; John Battrick (Ualclutha), very old verge watch brought to New Zealand by his late grandfather, Charles Tuck (William Mills, 1860), also a very old parasol, about 100 years old, brought to New Zealand hv his late grandmother, Mrs C. Tuck (William. Mills, 1860); J. L. Passmore (Dunedin), first radio set made in Dunedin, made by himself, 1902; Miss Bannatync, Royal terrace, framed portraits of her late parents, Mr and Mrs W. L _ Bannatyne, Royal terrace, early ’sixties The following deaths were reported;— Sampson Uren, Timaru (85), Phoebe Dunbar, 1863; John Stenhouse, Lawrrenco (87), City of Dunedin, 1864; Mrs J. A.
