IZARD SISTERS

CONCLUDING RECITAL The Misses 'Constance and Margaret Izard concluded their local season in the Burns Hall on Saturday evening. The attendance must have been extremely gratifying to the artists, and a deep measure of appreciation was manifested throughout the whole conceit. The unaccompanied duets of the sisters were again particularly delightful, their perfect accord in tone and execution creating a very deep impression. Both are soloists of rare accomplishment, and their individual items were accorded an enthusiastic reception. Mr Ernest Empson’s accompaniments contributed to the success of the concert in no small measure. It is a long time since two such talented musicians have been heard in Dunedin, and their return in the future will be heartily welcomed.
