WEST HARBOUR MAYORALTY.
TO TUB EDITOR. Sir, —I was not present at the meeting held last month at Kavensbonrno under the auspices of the West Harbour Ratepayers’ Association. J. understand that Mr H. E. Mollcr was nominated and accepted by the meeting as the candidate lor the mayoralty. J do not think that Air Aloller did the right thing in accepting nomination, as lie. has ‘‘retired” sovofal times to my knowledge. On the last occasion lie said emphatically he would not again stand, at any rate for the position of mayor. Mr Moller has served the borough well in the past, but at the same time 1 cannot understand why he has allowed himself to be led the way lie has, and I hope that it is not too late for him to withdraw and allow others to he nominated in his stead, ft may bo said that no one else could fill the mayoral chair so well ns lie, but a chance should he given to others, as no one will oppose Air Afoller while lie stands. “ The hour will find the man,” provided, of course. Air Afoller cancels his nomination paper at once. T would respectfully ask him to do so. 1 am, etc., " Consider. April 15.
