RETIREMENT FROM NAVY NEW SPHERE 0 FACTION Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 19. The announcement from Buckingham Palace stating that Prince George is to join the staff of the Foreign Office adds that the Prince has returned from active participation in the work of the Royal Navy in consequence of medical advice. Speaking at a Civil Service banquet last night, Prince George said: “ I hope to equip myself to take a worthy share in the Civil Service, both at Home and abroad.”—Australian Press Association-United Service. (Received March 20, at 1 a.m.) The ‘Daily Chronicle ’ says: ‘‘The Civil Service training *will be most valuable to Prince George should the Prince become Governor-General of Canada and follow the Prince of Wales in sowing the seeds of good-will and friendship in the United States. —Australian Press Association.
