LATE SHIPPING
WESTMORELAND AND TREWORLAS DELAYED. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. advise that the Westmoreland, from Liverpool, has been delayed in Wellington on account of rain, and will nob now be here until Tuesday next to unload general cargo. The Treworlas was also delayed by the rain at Wellington, but left last night for Lyttelton and, Dunedin. She is now expected here on Sunday to discharge cargo from New York. RIMUTAKA DUE SUNDAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company report that the steamer Rimntaka arrived at Wellington this morning from London. She is to leave the northern port for Dunedin, where she is due on Sunday afternoon. RANGITIKI REPORTED. Colon was reached by the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor ship Rangitiki on March 5. The vessel is en route from London and Southampton to Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff. She is due at Wellington about March 24. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. LYTTELTON, March 7.—Arrived: Wahine (6.50 a.m.), from Wellington; Alexander (6.45 a.m.), lonic (10.15 a.m.), Kahika (10.20), from Timaru.
