[The Rt. Rev. George Henry Somerset Walpole, D.D., lias been Bishop of Edinburgh since 1910. Tie was born in 1854, and was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. He was Incumbent of St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral, Auckland, from 1882 to 1889, and also warden of St. John’s College. He was professor of dogmatic theology in the General Theological Seminary, New York, from 1889 to 1896, and principal of Bede College. Durham, from 1896 to 1903.]
