(Received March 6, at 9.30 a.m.) Three migration misfits were sentenced at Eastham to twenty-one days’ imprisonment for stowing away on tlio Ascanius from Fremantle. They told a stereotyped story that they could not get work and were starving, and that dozens of distressed persons were frequenting the piers in the. hopes of getting away.—Australian Press Association.
