LADIES’ TOURNAMENT The weather was ideal for the and 15 grade ladies’ ‘ Yankee tournament, held last Thursday at Anderson's hay. Six courts were used, and every lady had three games. The tournament was a success in every way. The Ladies’ Committee is to be congratulated on its venture, and it is Imped more of these tourneys will be arranged. The following were the section winners:— Misses Cook, Todd, Jefferson. SherrifF, Pattison, and Mrs Evans. They will play off next Thursday. A trophy of 30s Gd will be presented to the winner and a pair of tennis balls to the run-ner-uo.
