The Queen, for the first time, will unveil a war memorial. This is being erected at Tower Hill on behalf of the Empire Governments in memory ol 12,030 officers and men of the merchant navy and fishing fleets who have no grave lint the sea. it is an imposing monument, consisting oi a vaulted stone corridor 64ft long, with three bays, in which the names of the dead are inscribed on bronze panels under the names' of their ships_ it is expected that the ceremony will take place on December 12. —Dinted Service.
