Evidence of idcntificatioa was given by deceased’s brother Alexander Murdoch, and Jh Evans testified as to the treatment given deceased after his arrest. A verdict in accordance with the medical evidence that death -was duo to sudden heart failure resulting from ccrrposis of tho liver and kidneys, was returned. TO TRY COOK STRAIT. LONDON, November 12.—Miss Gleitzo (the English Channel swimmer) , who was unsuccessful in two attempts this week to swim the Irish Sea, says sho proposes to swim Cook Strait in New Zealand. —Australian Press Association.
