POINCARE TO REMAIN
THE MAH OF THE HOUR responds to wide appeal Prew Association—By Telegraph—'Copyright, PARIS, November 0. (Received November 10, at 12.13 p.m.). The expected has happened. M. Poincare has accepted M. Doumerguo s invitation to form a new Ministry. A communique from the President s palace sets out that M. Poincare will seek to form “ a. Ministry of Republican concord,” which is almost equivalent to a Government of National Union. The Ministry is expected to bo composed of the most prominent leaders. regardless of party affiliations, with the probable exception of four Radical-Socialist -Ministers who resigned. . ■ , . A[. Poincare immediately negotiated a series of conferences with the leaders, which is continuing to-night. M, Poincare’s decision follows an almost unanimous Press appeal to sacrifice hu personal inclinations on the grounds oi patriotic need.—Australian Press Association.
