AMATEUR' CHAMPIONSHIP. In the Zealand: amateur billiards championship, at Auckland, ,M. D. White defeated the present title holder (BS. V. Roberts) by '77 points. White established: an early lead, and Roberts was unable to overtake him. The final Istage has not been reached.
