PIGEON FLIGHT
The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flew a ' Hock race _ last Saturday from Taihape, an airline distance of 518 miles. The weather conditions were fair, with a light head wind, and the birds put. up a good fly, the winner doing the distance in 13n 59min. ‘ The station master liberated thirty-one birds from. eleven lofts, with the following results (in yards per minute) : J.
