A YEAR OF PROGRESS [Tea Untied Tkess Association-.] CIiRiSTCHURCH, October 11. At tho annual conference of the Baptist Union the reports stated that the membership had risen to 7,385. two new churches were forming during the year, and an extension of building operations was undertaken in addition. A remarkable feature of the reports of various departments of work, home and foreign, was that, in spite of the depression, evorv account was in good credit. The sum of £17,500 was subscribed tor various activities, exclusive of tho gift of a college building.
