ARTILLERY BAND

Tho Third Artillery Band will occupy the rotunda at tho Gardens to-morrow at 3 p.m,, when a programme will be given to assist a bandsman who is in straitened circumstances owing to a serious accident. As this is a benefit concert a big crowd is expected, and a largo collection hoped for. Mr D. Whelan, well known in musical circles throughout the dominion, has taken over tho conductorship of this band, which has made great progress.
