TRAINING COLLEGE v. TRIANGLE. —Cup Einai.— The contestants for the cup met on Oval No. I, and provided a fast, hardhitting game. There was little combined work, and solo forward play was in evidence. College had all the best of the play in the first half, and at half-time were 2 goals in the lead. Triangle made things more interesting in the second spell, and showed better defence'. AJiss Butler made two great solo efforts and scored on both occasions, while College added a further two goals to their score. MOMONA. 1 The Blues Pared the play from the initial bully, and the Alomona rearguard had a busy time. ’Varsity were on attack for the majority of the time, and had no difficulty in putting up a big score, A one-sided game ended in victory for ’Varsity by 8 goals to nil. 1 Air T. Aloore was an elfieient referee. ’VARSITY B v. EX-HIGH. Playing on Oval No. ,‘5 at 1.30 p.m., Ex-High proved too good for ’Varsity B. Play was even in the first spell, and half-time found ’Varsity 1 up. ExHigh livened up in the second spell, and put more vim into their work. OLD GIRLS v. O.G.H.S. Technical proved 100 good for the younger School team on Oval No. _2. Technical forced matters from the start, and School were busy_ for the rest of the time.
