SOCCER The teams drawn for the four matches are _ about equally matched. The competition has reached an interesting .stage, for if Maori Hill heat Old Boys and Northern beat Seacliff Maori Hill and Northern will head the list. High School Old Boys will meet Maori Hill at Prospect Park. At the Gardens the two old rivals Northern and Seacliff will meet, and may bo dcpendod' on to make the game exciting from start to finish. Technical Old Boys will do their best to hold their position against Y.M C.A., and both being young and keen it will bo an interesting match to watch. Mornington are at homo to Mosgiel, and though the latter team has had a few setbacks it plays good football from start to finish. RUGBY Two interesting games will bo witnessed at Carisbrook. At 2.45 p.m. Kaikorai and Pirates will meet, and this should provide a well-contested game and some bright, open football. 4s a curtain raiser the sixth grade match High School A v. Ravensbourne will be played. At Tahuna Park Dunedin will meet ’Varsity ou the No. 1 ground, and Southern will meet Zingarj. on the No. 2 ground. An interesting game should also bo witnessed at Logan Park between Union and ’Varsity B, and Alhambra will meet Taien at opolio. The box plan will close at 11.30 a.ra. to-morrow. On Tuesday, at Carisbrook, subject to the ground' being in a fit condition, an interesting game should be witnessed between Otago Boys’ High School and Christ College. These young players can he relied on to give a fine exhibition of Rugby, and this match is always looked forward to with a great deal of interest. RUGBY LEAGUE When City and Christian Brothers met last month the Greens pulled the game cut of tho fire in tho last leu minutes. It was a brilliant match, with wonderful bursts of fast, open football. To-morrow these two teams meet a era in for tho last time in the final round of the senior championship. With the ground in perfect condition and both teams at full strength there should ho a game full of thrills and fast, open movements.
