PERTH-ADELAIOE AIR ROUTE FOUR LINERS TO BE ORDERED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, July 13. (Received July 14, at 10 a .in.) Tho Western Australian Airways Co. has called up £60,000 to order four Do H aril and Hercules air liners for tho Perth-Adelaide _ route. The liners will he similar machines to those used on the Basra-Cairo route, ,on which in eighteen months there, was only one failure in tho schedule time. This was due to a sandstorm. Each has three engines, so that if two give out the ’plane would not come down before thirty miles had been covered. The maximum speed is 130 miles per hour, and the cruising speed 110 miles.—Australian Press Association.
