ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
SUFFERED FROM MENTAL •^STRESS. At the inquest on John Chandler Hill, aged fifty, who was found with his throat cut at his homo at Ngaruawahia, the coroner (Mr Platts, S.M.) returned a verdict of suicide. Ho found that the deceased suffered from mental distress as the result of tho injuries ho received when he fell front the viaduct of the Waipa collieries in November last.—Hamilton Press Association telegram.
