SLUMP IN WHEAT

A Chicago message says that forecasts of_ rain over the drought menaced winter wheat fields sent all grain futures into a spectacular decline. The wheat market was unsettled throughout the day, _ and trading was enormous. The opening was firm, but the commission houses sold heavily, creating a sharp slump.
