PLANTERS SEEK BOUNTY RESULT OF DROP IN PRICE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, May 2. (Received May 2, at II a.m.) A Port Moresby radio message states that a representative of the rubber planters in Papua has' sought a bounty from the Lieutcant-Governor, declaring that owing to the collapse of the price of rubber plantations will be compelled to close if financial aid is withheld, resulting in the cancellation of _ native labovir contracts and the dismissal of European employees. Tliie Lieutenant-Governor has forwarded the request to the Minister of Territories.
