The Chief Justice granted the application of the Union Company for a commission to examine expert witnesses in connection with the claims arising out of the Greycliffe collision. [The Union Company applied for a commission to examine material witnesses in London. These are Rrofessor liillhouse and J. Semple, and their evidence is desired to , test that submitted at the Alarine Court of Inquiry regarding the operation of interactive forces and bow wave repulsion between the Greycliffe and the Tahiti immediately before the collision.]
