IMPORTANCE OF POTASH Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, January 30. (Received February 1, at 1 a.m.) Sir E. J. Russell (director of the Rothampstcd Experimental Station) attended the International Assembly of Potash Producers, Farmers, and Scientists, and described the results of eighty-live years’ experimental manuring at Rothnrapsted. Ho said that potasli had been subjected to thorough and continuous investigation. It had been discovered to be especially efficacious under unfavorable weather conditions, and largerly counteracted the want of sunshine.
