DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Sales were reported in Bank of Australasias at £l4 12s, Commercials at £1 9s, and Nationals of Australia at £l7 11s, while two sales were made in Milburn Lime and Cements at £1 12s 6d. Most of the banking shares, especially the Australian banks, were very firm. Commercial Banks were quoted cx rights. The new issue of shares in this bank will be made in the proportion of X in 6. The bank is paying 6 per cent, on all applications for new shares that are paid up in one instalment. Refrigerating shares were wanted at 17s 9d this morning, with seller's quoting 18s. The quotation* for tbe conlributing issue were 8s 6d buyers, 8s 8d sellers. After the sales of Milburn Lime and Cements there was a further buyet at £1 12s 3d, with a seller at £1 12s 9d. M'Leod Bros.’ Soaps were in demand al £3O a share, with no seller offering. Upper Nevis shares were wanted at £1 3s, with the best sellers at £1 ss. Sales reported: Bank of Australasia, £l4 12s; National Bank of Australasia, £l7 11s; Commercial Bank, £1 9s (cum rights, cum div.). Sales on ’Change: Milburn Lime and Cement, £1 12s 6d (two sales).
