Tlie Waipiata arrived early this morning from Auckland and Lyttelton, and after unloading sails to-morrow for Oamaru, Timaru, Wellington, and .Auckland. Tiie Kahiku left Gisborne to-day for Wellington and Dunedin, arriving on Sunday. She loads out again on Monday next for Napier and Gisborne via ports. The Gale is due here on Monday next from Timaru, and sails the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Calm is expected to arrive here on February 9 from Bluff. The Storm was expected to arrive at Dunedin late this afternoon from Lyttelton. She will sail to-morrow for Timaiu, Lyttelton, Wellington, P.icton, and Wanganui. The trawler Taratahi left Port j Chalmers last night for Bluff, the exwbale chaser having completed her overhaul. ' The Holmdale is now due at tins port on Monday from Wellington to discharge and load general cargo, (she will sail the same day for Wellington and Wanganui via ports. The Shaw, SaVill liner Tainui left Auckland on Monday morning lor Tokomaru Bay to continue loading for London. The American steamer West Elcajon arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Wellington to discharge the remainder of her cargo from -Pacific coast ports. The steamer Nile, which is at present discharging sulphur at New Plymouth, has been chartered to load phosphate at Noumea, for Australia or New Zealanud. The Cape Comorin is due at Wellington towards the end of this week from Napier to complete Homeward leading. The vessel is to sail finally from Wellington on- February 4 lor Dunkirk and English ports via Panama. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Maori, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 7.45 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with the first express. MANCHESTER MERCHANT SAILS. The Manchester Merchant, which arrived at Dunedin yesterday at noon from New York via .Panama, Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton, sailed at 6 o’clock this morning for Westport to replenish her bunkers. \\ hile in oort the vessel discharged the remainder of her American cargo, which included general merchandise and motor cars. The following arc particulars of the Union Steam Ship Company’s vessels engaged in the transpacific cargo services : Waitemata, from Sydney via Suva, is now loading at Vancouver, and proceeds thence to San Francisco and Los Angeles to complete loading for Apia, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. Wairuua, from Melbourne, is now discharging at Sydney. Hauraki cleared San Francisco on January 30 for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide; due at Auckland about February 19. Waiotupu, from Pacific Coast, is expected to dear Auckland about Tuesday next for Wellington, thence Mclbounio and Sydney. Waihemo left Auckland on Saturday for Vancouver and San Francisco; duo at Vancouver about February 22. The forward loading dates at Pacific Coast are approximately as under:— Waihemo loads at Vancouver and San Francisco end of February and early March for Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. advise that the Federal Lino steamer Cambridge arrived at Auckland yesterday morning from Liverpool via Panama. The vessel lias general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at this port about February 10. C. AND D. LINE STEAAIERS. The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Albany is to leave New York on February 18 for New Zealand ports. The Port Curtis will follow, sailing on April 2D. The Port Hunter, on route from Liverpool, cleared Panama on January 25, bound for the New Zealand lour main ports. The vessel is due at Auckland about February 11, and at Dunedin two weeks later. The Government steamer Hincmoa is scheduled to arrive at Auckland tomorrow morning from Norfolk island. 'The steamer’s subsequent schedule is as follows:—Sail February 3 for Niue Island, return Auckland February 19; sail,February 20 for Norfolk Island, return Auckland February 28; sail March 1 for Niue Island, return to Auckland March 18; sail Alarch 19 for Norfolk Island, return to Auckland March 27. 'The Government’s new motor vessel, Maui Pomarc, is expected to take over the service at the end of March, and the Hincmoa will then he withdrawn. ULi.M AROA’S TIME-TABLE.
