RAIDING WAHABIS

The Basra correspondent _ of ‘The Times’ states: —“A Wahabi force of 300 camel riders and 100 horsemen raided Koweit. They slaughtered many of the tribesmen and seized camels and cattle. The authorities hurriedly despatched a puntive force of thirty armed cars and 100 cavalry, also a. camel force, which overtook tho raiders. A fierce battle ensured at Bukkai. The wounded include three Wahabi sheiks. The Koweit forces were victorious, and recovered the loot.”— 1 The Times
