SUDDEN DEATH. While parrying out her duties as cook at a local private hotel on Saturday evening Elizabeth Flynn, aged sixty, collapsed, and expired before medical aid was forthcoming. An inquest will bo held,—Palmerston North Press Association telegram. TELEGRAPH BOYS INJURED. As the result of a cycle accident opposite Stedman’s garage in Princes street early on Saturday afternoon, two telegraph messenger boys, named C. R. S. Bird and T. W. Greer, were admitted to the hospital suffering from concussion and abrasions to their faces. The two boys were riding on the one machine, when the front forks snapped, both being thrown heavily on to the road. Their condition is not serious. An X-ray examination will be conducted to-day to ascertain the extent of their injuries.
