Mr Blair, who was recently appointed to the Supreme Court Bench, was sworn in as a Judge before Sir Charles Skerrett (Chief. Justice) in the Supreme Court to-day. Mr Justice Blair, accompanied by his family and by Mr R. E. Tripe, bis associate, is to leave for the north tomorrow by motor. He takes judicial . duties at Auckland on February 1.
