The gate takings for the twentyeight matches played by the Waratal) s is expected to yield a total of £OI.OOO sterling, including a record against England of £16,000, because, for the first time the new stand at Twickenham was filled. Other international takings were Against Scotland £B,OOO, against Wales £5,000, and against Ireland £4,600. The smallest gate was £3OO, against North Scotland. Deducting the expenses of the tour (£12,000) and the entermtainments tax (£12.200), this means that the Warn tabs will hand over £36,800 to the British authorities, to be divided as follows;—England £14,000, Wales £9,000, Scotland £5,700, Ireland £4,000. This compares with the All Blacks’ profits of £21,000. The Waratahs will take back £1,600 profit from France. The sum of £6OO has been guaranteed for a match in Vancouver.
