DANNEVIRKE TOURNEY. The Dannevirko Lawn Tennis Club’s annual championship tournament was completed yesterday with the exception of the mixed handicap doubles. The following wore the winners of championship events : Ladies’ Singles.—Mrs Adams (Wellington) heat Miss Mvers (Wanganui), 6-5. 6-2. Men’s Singles.-N. Barkman (Wanganui) beat J. Lowry (Hastings), 6-3, 6-3. Men’s Doubles.—Millbourn and Lowry (Napier) heat Burkinan and Powdrcll (Wanganui), 6-2, 6-2. Boys’ Singles.—J. E. Giesen (Dnnnevirkp) beat Blyth (Dannevirke), 6-1, 6-0. Girls’ Singles.—J. Swainson (Patinlua) beat Miss Blvih (Dannevirke), 6-4. 6-1. Ladies’ Doubles. Misses Culver and Myers (Wanganui) beat. Mesdaraes Adams and Campbell (Wellington), .3-6, 6-0. _ 6-1. Mixed Doubles.—Sharia nd and Airs Adams (Wellington) beat Lowry an Miss Snow Clark (Hastings), 2-6, 6-4, 6-4. W AUR ARA P A TO UR NE Y. The Wairarana lawn tennis tournament was concluded at Masterton yesterday. The following are additional results:— Men’s Singles.— B. P. Welch (Mastenon) beat F. W. Martin Masterton), 6-0. 6-3.
