PRINCESS THEATRE

‘ Maid of the South ’ is the title of the current offering by the Fullers’ Follies at the Princess Theatre. Throughout this delightfully entertaining revue Stud Foley and his clever band keep the humor running at a fast pace, and altogether the piece is one of their best to date. The singing and dancing are of the best, and the costumes and settings are designed on a very elaborate scale. Vaudeville brevities of the most refreshing kind occupy the first half of the programme. It is teeming with diverting absurdities, songs, and dance numbers. TO-MORROW’S SHOW.

Fullers’ Follies’ next show is entitled ‘Patches.’ It is made up'of patches of laughter, music, and an occasional sigh. Several of the sketches have a very novel form of presentation. One is entitled ‘ Don’t Give It Away,’ and wo sincerely hope the audience will not do so, as the climax would only be spoilt for other patrons. ‘ Justifiable Homicides ’ is a series of short sketches which go to show what we would like to do if we dared. Another amusing sketch is entitled ‘The Riddle.’ ‘l’ll Take Her Back ’ is a song seen a showing the women and the men’s version of this popular song. Foley and Iris, M'Donald and Payne, Decima and Eddie M‘Lean_ give their usual high-class vaudeville in the first half; Miss Fanning does some excellent numbers, backed by the Sis Dainties; and the singing is in the capabe hands of Miss Edgerton, W. Beresford. and Eric Masters.
