TO-DAY'S CASH PSICES The guide gives the ruling prices in city shops for goods sold over the counter. Eggs are selling at Is 8d and Is 9d dozen. Meat prices are unchanged. Mutton is selling from 2d to 7Jdj beef from 3d to lid; lamb, 7d to lid. Fish is not so plentiful as at the beginning of the week. Prices are Groper, 8d lb; kingfish, 8d lb; red cod, 4d lb; ling, 4d lb; soles, from 3s dozen; flounders, from 3s dozen; smoked red cod, from 4d eapb; smoked blue cod, Is 3d lb. Vegetable prices are:—Hothouse tomatoes, Is 3d and Is 6d lb; cooking tomatoes, 10d and Is lb; Peninsula potatoes, 51b for It| cabbages, 4d and 6d each; cauliflowers, 6d to Is each; lettuce, 3d and 4d; peas, 4d lb; cucumbers, 9d to Is 6d; French beans, 9d lb; fresh rhubarb, 3d lb.
